Clifton Hill House (3)
An ungainly and dated old renovation refurbished from within.
The project brief for this traditional double fronted Victorian weatherboard dwelling was to convert an ugly duckling with a bad 1980’s renovation into something contemporary with a strong visual connection to the large north facing rear garden. No new building area was required-just a total rear facelift.
Environmentally strong credentials are established through the use of 6 star thermal and acoustic insulation, thermal break double glazing, natural passive cross ventilation and electric retractable external shading.
